Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know when it is time to see a coach?

Most individuals that seek out a coach do so after reaching a breaking point in their life. This point will vary from person to person depending on their ability to cope with the stressors they are experiencing. They often have reached a point where their lives seem out of balance and they do not feel they are progressing as they should. At this point, life has become less enjoyable. Without direction, they do not know where else to turn.

Why do I need a coach?

A coach will guide a person through the inner workings of their thought processes. In the safety and strength of the coach-client relationship, a person is able to challenge themselves in ways that promote growth and success. There is no judgment in this relationship. The coach is there to listen, explore the thoughts and concerns, and provide solutions for the challenges that arise.

What are the benefits of having a coach?

Increased ability to identify solutions to specific work-related issues.
The opportunity to correct behavior/performance difficulties.

Increased openness to personal learning and development.

Improvement in performance, targets, and goals.

Improvement of specific skills or behavior.

Greater clarity in roles and objectives.

Greater ownership and responsibility.

Development of self-awareness.

How will I know if you are the right coach for me?

During your free initial consultation via telephone or video, you will have the opportunity to ask questions and get to know your new potential coach. Trust your intuition. It is important that you feel comfortable and safe to share your thoughts. Feel free to ask anything that concerns you.

How long are the sessions?

50 minutes

Are the issues we discuss confidential?

Yes. Everything that is discussed is protected by a Coach-Client confidentiality agreement. This agreement is an important part of the overall process. Coaching is most effective when a person can be completely honest and feel safe when revealing private and personal information. The exceptions to this rule are related to child or elder abuse, a threat to harm another person, or if you are in danger of self-harm.

Do you take insurance?

No
